Frequently asked questions
Do I need to book?
No, you do not need to book. Tickets are purchased without choosing a date. You can visit whenever you like during opening hours (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:30 to 21:00, check opening hours for different times of year). Simply show your QR code at the ticket office as proof of purchase, either printed or on your mobile.
From what age do children need to pay?
Children aged between 3 and 12 pay the child admission price. Children under 3 enter free.
How long does a visit take?
Between two and four hours, depending on how leisurely you take the route. A couple of hours is typical, but you can stay as long as you like.
Until what time do the dinosaurs operate?
Dinolandia switches off at 19:00: the dinosaurs stop operating, and at 19:30 the lights in El Bosque Encantado switch on.
Does Mineralandia open at the same time as Dinolandia?
Yes. Mineralandia is within the El Bosque Encantado and Dinolandia complex, so all three open at the same time, with the same opening hours and the same combined admission ticket.
Is parking included?
Yes. Parking is free, including at night.
Are you open on public holidays?
Yes, we open on all public holidays from 10:30 to 21:00, just as at weekends. For public holidays and long weekends, check the opening hours on the website before visiting.
Are discounts available?
There are often special discounts on social media for online purchases only. There is also a 2 € discount on the adult admission price for unemployed visitors, large families, people with disabilities and Carnet Joven youth card holders (on presentation of the card).
Can I bring food?
We have our own catering facilities. You may bring bottles of water and only ready-made baguette sandwiches or sandwiches, for personal consumption, provided they are carried in a small rucksack or small bag. Cool boxes and food containers are not allowed. There are picnic tables and benches in both Dinolandia and El Bosque Encantado; these sandwiches may not be eaten at the tables around our kiosk or bar. We sincerely hope you have a fantastic, happy day, but the rules on bringing your own food will be strictly enforced at the entrance for the safety of the park.
Can I bring pets?
Yes, provided they are kept on a lead at all times. Breeds classified as dangerous must wear a muzzle. At night, pets require their own ticket.
Is there a restaurant?
There is a bar open on Saturdays and Sundays in spring and summer, with an outdoor terrace weather permitting, as well as drinks vending machines.
Can I take photos?
As many as you like! And we would love you to share them on our Facebook page.
Is there a breastfeeding room?
You can ask for access at reception. There is also a baby-changing facility in one of the toilets next to reception.
Can I visit with a pushchair?
95% of the park is accessible with a pushchair. There are steps, but these can be avoided by using the main path.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Because of the terrain (a very steep hill in a protected natural area), this has not been possible: there are dozens of stairways and unpaved surfaces. Only around 10% of the garden could be visited. We would have loved to have been able to do more.
What are the opening hours for night admission?
It opens from dusk until 2 hours later in summer and 1:30 hours later during the rest of the year. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays we close at 21:00: the dinosaurs stop operating at 19:00 and the lights in El Bosque Encantado switch on at 19:30. No admission is allowed in the 40 minutes before closing. Check the lighting days under Opening Hours.
Do I need to bring a torch?
The garden is sufficiently lit, but torches are available to help you discover the fairy houses in the tree trunks.
